WARRANTEES

 

§  Seller warrants that she is the owner of and has good and lawful authority to sell the kitten/cat(s) as described above.

§  Seller warrants that the animal described above is to the best of her knowledge in good health, free from infections, parasites, and contagious diseases.

§  In the event a fatal genetic defect is found in the animal within 2 years of age, Seller agrees to replace the animal with another kitten of equal value when one becomes available, if the Seller is still actively involved with Ragdolls.  No money will be refunded.  An autopsy report from a certified pathologist along with an explanation by the cat/kitten’s attending veterinarian must be provided to the Seller prior to a replacement animal being given to the Buyer.  No medical costs are refunded.

§  All warranties are VOID if the kitten is given an FIP, FELINE LEUKEMIA vaccines. RABIES can’t be given in combination with any other vaccines; they MUST be spaced out at least 8 weeks, MERIAL brand is highly recommended. Don't give any 4 way vaccinations only 3 way! Combining vaccinations or declaw voids this warranty

  §  Seller has no control of and assumes no responsibility for Buyer’s allergies to cats, affect or injury in relation to kitten’s behavior, affect or injury by other pets, disapproval by landlord, lack of proper training by Buyer, lack of proper nutrition or care by buyer or unpredictable features of the kitten as it matures into an adult, such as physical size, length of fur, coloring or behavior of the kitten.




VETERINARY EXAM AND CARE  

This kitten has been examined at St. Paul Pet Hospital  a health record has been provided to you at the time of pick-up, with vaccination and deworming schedules listed.

 

ACCEPTANCE  

§  Buyer has 5 days after taking possession of animal to have any medical tests or examinations performed on said animal.  Any tests or examinations will be done at Buyer’s risk and expense.

§  If a pre-existing health condition is found at this time, Seller agrees to refund the total purchase price of the animal when the animal is returned to the Seller.  No transportation or medical costs will be refunded. 

§  Seller must be notified of the pre-existing health problem within 7 days after Buyer takes possession of animal.  If Buyer fails to notify seller of said health problem, Buyer will be deemed to have accepted said animal.

§  Seller is not obligated to take animal back from Buyer or issue a cash refund for any reason other than pre-existing health condition which is found within the first 5 days.

§  Buyer accepts all responsibility for said animal’s health and safety needs upon Buyer taking possession of animal.

 

IN THE EVENT SAID ANIMAL IS UNABLE TO LIVE WITH BUYER, SELLER MUST BE NOTIFIED!  BUYER MUST GIVE SELLER THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY

TO HAVE ANIMAL RETURNED TO HER AND NOT SOLD OR GIVEN TO ANY SHELTER, PET SHOP, VETERINARIANS OFFICE, RESEARCH FACILITY OR ANY OTHER BREEDER

  REGISTERATION


  • Buyer agrees to keep kitten/cat in a clean, protected and loving environment. 
  • Seller guarantees that there are no known health problems of genetic disease in said animal’s parents or siblings to her knowledge.  If problems are discovered or suggested after the sale of said animal, then the Seller guarantees prompt replacement of said animal.
  • Seller agrees to include registration papers from TICA, when spay or neuter forms are received. If by the age of 9 months, proof of neuter or spay are not received or seller has the right to bill the buyer an additional $2000.00 for breeding rights or to obtain full ownership of the above cat/kitten.
                                                            

 

INSTRUCTION ON CARE  

Buyer agrees to follow Seller’s recommendations concerning the health and welfare of said animal during the introductory period, including but not limited to:  food, medical care, vaccinations and introducing new kitten/cat to its new household.

  • In the event of breech of this agreement by the Buyer, Buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney’s fees and legal expenses as allowed by law and incurred by Seller in enforcing her rights under this agreement.
  • It is agreed that this agreement shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota.
  • This contract shall constitute the entire agreement between the parties and any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of this agreement shall not be binding upon either party except to the extent incorporated in this agreement.
  • The unenforceability of one clause of this agreement does not invalidate the entire agreement.
